"I am a self taught artist and from an early age I have had an interest in drawing wildlife. Growing up in Southern Texas offered me the opportunity to observe and expand my knowledge of art through field sketches and quick draws of various animals native to the Rio Grand Valley. My technique was developed through the use of pencil, water color, and oils. Although I have experimented with a variety of medias I have found that acrylics work best for me. The most rewarding aspect of painting is the interactions with people I have met and the acceptance of my work which serves to inspire me to continue to paint. May the audience never seize to seek their passion for art as I have enjoyed painting it for them."
